Our Name
"Diffbot" is one word with an uppercase "D" and all other letters in lowercase. Please do not separate the words "Diff" and "bot". We like them together. "Diffbot" is short for DIFFBOT TECHNOLOGIES CORP, our official business name.
Diffy, the friendly internet bot
Diffy is an anthropomorphization of Diffbot. You might see him crop every now and then in our apps and marketing material but he prefers to be crawling the public web and curating facts for the Knowledge Graph.
